Circus had an instore exhibition of mixed media work called Cheap as Chips. There was a mix of Irish and international fashion , art, music and design contributors working in and outside of their respective mediums. Contributors included Henrik Vibskov (Copenhagen) Miranda July (USA) Celestine Cooney (London) and David Kitt (Dublin)
For my piece I decided to represent different international chip containers for mens shirts in the form of the chest pocket.
The Belgian - with the famously Belgian conical shaped chip vessle and two leatherette drips of mayonaise on the cuff.
The American - Fast food shaped chip container with two leatherette drips of tomato ketchup
The Scottish - The classic chip bag with the two leatherette drips of brown sauce.
